‘Swargam’ first look: Aju Varghese in a binocular split between traditional and modern worlds

The first look poster of ‘Swargam’, an upcoming family entertainer starring Aju Varghese and Johny Antony, has been unveiled by the makers. Directed by Rejis Antony, the film marks his second directorial venture following the success of ‘Oru Second Class Yathra’, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan in the lead.

The intriguing first-look poster of ‘Swargam’ features a unique visual concept—a binocular view showing two contrasting worlds. On one side, there is a depiction of a traditional village family, where Aju Varghese appears, while the other side portrays a modern family, complete with a robot, symbolizing the clash between tradition and modernity. The poster hints at a narrative rich in humor, emotion, and relatable family dynamics.

‘Swargam’ is set against the backdrop of Central Travancore and revolves around the bond and conflicts between two neighboring Christian families.

The cinematography for Swargam is handled by S Saravanan, while the film’s music is composed by a talented team including Bijibal, Mohan Sithara, Jinto John, and Lizy Fernandes. The lyrics are penned by BK Harinarayanan, Santhosh Verma, Baby John Kalayanthani, and Engandiyoor Chandrasekaran. Notably, Baby John Kalayanthani, renowned for his Christian devotional songs, will be writing lyrics for a film for the first time.

The screenplay of Swargam is written by Rejis Antony and Rose Rejis, based on a story by Lizy K Fernandez. With its promising storyline and talented cast, Swargam is set to be a must-watch family entertainer.

The film boasts an ensemble cast, with Manju Pillai and Ananya playing significant roles alongside Aju Varghese and Johny Antony. The supporting cast includes Vineeth Thattil, Sajin Cherukayil, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Sijoy Varghese, Ranji Kankol, and several others. The film also introduces newcomers such as Surya, Sreeram, Devanjana, Sujesh Unnithan, Ritika Rose Rejis, Rio Don Max, and Cinderella Don Max.
