Swapaanam premiered at DIFF

Swaapaanam, the yet to be released movie that portrays the actor Jayaram in the role of a temple percussionist has already hits the headlines for its profound theme. Now we hear that the film, which is helmed by the national award winner Shaji N Karun, was premiered at Mall of the Emirates during the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).
Swapaanam, which features Bengali actress Kadambari is all set to shed light on the work of chenda artistes in the state and how their work is often recognised by the society.Reportedly, the movie evolves through a thread between a chenda player and a Mohiniyattam dancer.
