Suresh Gopi’s birthday special: Mohanlal drops the character poster of the superstar’s 251st film!

Superstar Suresh Gopi is celebrating his birthday today. And his ‘Manichithrathazhu’ co-star Mohanlal has launched the character poster of the birthday boy’s 251st film! Tentatively titled

SG251

, the poster features Suresh Gopi in a rugged avatar. Suresh Gopi is seen flaunting a salt and pepper look with a man pony and thick beard. In the poster, he can also be seen wearing a magnifying glass as he repairs a watch. He is sitting in comfy sleepwear accompanied by his pet dog and on his desk, one can also spot a few intriguing crime genre books, including KL Noir: Red and Five Families.

The poster suggests that the upcoming film helmed by Rahul Ramachandran could be a thriller, with a time travel element. Moreover, Mohanlal extended birthday wishes to Suresh Gopi, while launching the poster.

SG251 is written by Sameen Salim and is helmed by Rahul Ramachandran. The upcoming film is produced by Ethereal Entertainments and will be distributed by August Cinemas. Sethu Sivanandan has designed the character and the poster is designed by SK Designs Faktory.

The team will be unveiling the cast and crew later.

Meanwhile, Suresh Gopi has some interesting upcoming projects lined up. He was earlier filming for ‘Paappan’. The upcoming film is helmed by master filmmaker Joshiy. The duo has earlier collaborated with films like ‘Lelam’, ‘Pathram’, and ‘Vazhunnor’, and they were blockbusters. And the audience are expecting yet another box office hit. The shoot of ‘Paappan’ was put to a temporary halt and the team would resume once the pandemic situation improves.
