Suresh Gopi to play an IT expert next

Suresh Gopi, the action star of Mollywood, is on an experimental mode. After signing up for a comic role in Malutty Sabu, and a rooted-to-reality character as that of a cancer specialist in Apothecary, the actor will next be seen playing an IT expert. The yet to be titled movie is helmed by M Mohanan and scripted by debutants Jeo and Nijo.
Confirming the news, the director said, “Suresh Gopi will play Adhiraja Bhattathiri, an IT expert, who is a strong and independent personality.The movie also has a 15-year-old character called Sam Thottungal, who will have an equally important role in the plot. We are yet to rope in an actor to play that role. I cannot reveal all the details about the movie. All I can say is that it will be an inspirational film as well as a commercial entertainer. We are planning to convey a message at the end of the story.”
Though the director is tight-lipped about the plot, sources in the industry say that the movie has prominence for children. Mohanan’s earlier outing, Katha Parayumbol, had won the State Award for the best popular film. His Manikyakallu and 916 had also received a lot of attention for their unique themes.
