Amidst the rumors regarding the authenticity and procurement of gold ornaments for his daughter Bhagya Suresh's recent wedding to Sreyas Mohan, acclaimed actor-politician Suresh Gopi has come forward to set the record straight.
Suresh Gopi vehemently dismissed the speculations, asserting, "In the light of baseless malicious information spreading on social media, I would like to clarify that the ornaments that Bhagya was wearing - every bit - were gifts from her parents and grandparents." He went on to emphasize that all transactions were meticulously documented, with proper billing and adherence to taxation regulations, including the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
Providing further details, Suresh Gopi revealed, "The designers were from Chennai and Hyderabad, and one material was from Bhima (jewelry shop)." Urging an end to the unfounded accusations, he pleaded, "Please stop doing this, and emotionally, don't crack down on me or my family. This humble soul is capable of fulfilling and taking care of these responsibilities."
Meanwhile the wedding itself was a star-studded affair, held at the Guruvayur temple, with luminaries such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mohanlal, and Mammootty gracing the occasion. Prime Minister Modi even bestowed special tokens upon the newlyweds, symbolizing prosperity and happiness.
On the work front, Suresh Gopi's previous outing was with the investigative thriller 'Garudan' which was scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The movie featured Biju Menon in a dark shaded role and received good reviews from the audiences. He will be next seen in 'Varaham'. The superstar recently confirmed that the film will soon go on floors.
