Popular television personality, mimicry artist and actor Kollam Sudhi passed away on Monday (June 5) after meeting with an accident. He was 39. M-Town celebrities including Suresh Gopi has arrived in person to pay tributes to the deceased, and also offered condolences to the family. Kollam Sudhi’s untimely demise has left the entertainment industry devastated. Superstar Suresh Gopi, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among other celebrities from the Malayalam entertainment industry, paid their final respect to the late actor.
As per the reports, Kollam Sudhi, Ullas Aroor, Binu Adimali, and Mahesh were travelling by car and collided with a truck at Kaipamangalam at 4.30 AM on Monday. Though they were taken to the hospital, Sudhi didn’t make it. The condition of other artistes are reportedly stable. The accident took place when they were on their way back from a shoot for the channel.
Kollam Sudhi is survived by his wife Renu, and their two children.
Meanwhile, according to the reports, the funeral will be held on Tuesday (June 6) at Kollam Sudhi’s wife’s house in Kottayam.
Kollam Sudhi, who has also appeared in films like 'Kattapanayile Hrithik Roshan', 'Kuttanadan Marppapa', 'Theetarappayi', and 'Keshu ee veedinte nadhan' among others gained popularity after his appearance at a celebrity game show.
