With so many starkids now working in the film industry, every time a father-son duo team up, it’s bound to evoke the interest of fans of both the actors. While those like Mammootty-Dulquer and Mohanlal-Pranav have tried to stay away from doing a film together soon,
Suresh Gopi and son Gokul could break that trend.
In an exclusive interview with us, Gokul told us, “We are in talks for a film in which I play a lead and he appears as a character. I have always seen my father as an actor. I remember after watching Bharathchandran IPS when I was young, my younger sister and I would stand at the door and salute him when he used to come home. So, considering him an actor makes it easier for me to criticise his roles, both to him as well as my friends.”
Gokul will be seen in Soothrakkaran, Ulta, Illayaraja and
Sayana Varthakal
, and is also in talks for several big projects this year.
