Suraj Venjaramoodu pens a heartfelt note in memory of Sachy

The 2019 release movie ‘Driving Licence,’ written by Sachy, directed by Lal Junior and starring Suraj Venajramoodu and Prithviraj in the lead, was a super hit.

Actor Suraj Venjramoodu, who had played the character of a vehicle inspector by the name Kuruvila Joseph in the movie, was much appreciated for his performance in the movie as well.

In memory of Sachy, who passed away on June 18 night following a cardiac arrest after a surgery, Suraj wrote a heartfelt note on his social media page. He said, ‘It's a loss that I wished didn’t happen. This final journey is too early. He was a writer who had many strong and quality stories in his mind. He was a director who could give our audience a lot more movies of merit. More than all that, he is a person whom we can't replace in our industry. That was Sachy Ettan. It's not just a colleague that we lost, we lost a good friend and brother too. He was the friend of victories. You will definitely live through the characters you created.

He was admitted to Thrissur Jubilee Mission Hospital on June 16 after having suffered a cardiac arrest. Sachy, who had undergone a total hip replacement surgery in a private hospital, had a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the Jubilee Mission Hospital. However, by then, his brain had suffered damage. He was admitted to the critical care unit and was on ventilator for a few days before his death yesterday.
