Actor-producer-director Prithviraj Sukumaran’s love story with journalist-turned-movie producer Supriya Menon is nothing short of a fairytale. They are a power couple in M-Town, and Supriya Menon has now shared a throwback picture from their dating days. They took the picture in 2009 or 2010, while Prithviraj Sukumaran was filming for ‘Pokkiri Raja’.

In the picture, the duo is seen shopping for Prithviraj Sukumaran’s new ride. Supriya Menon shared the lovely throwback picture and captioned, “Throwback to 2009 or 2010. Can’t remember exact dates. Prithvi was shooting for Pokkiri Raja at that time. This was the day @therealprithvi bought this Z4. I wasn’t in any of the official pics but I was there��#throwback#longromance#datingshenanigans.”

Prithviraj Sukumaran met Supriya Menon in Mumbai, while she was pursuing a career in journalism. The duo connected instantly and started hanging out together. They started as friends. Supriya Menon, who was a Mumbaiite became a guide for Prithviraj Sukumaran, who wanted to explore some particular places in the city. “Though Supriya is a Malayali, she has spent most of her life in Mumbai. She’s a Mumbai girl. In fact, I saw the real Mumbai through Supriya’s eyes. Of course, I knew Mumbai before I got to know her. But it was Supriya who showed me the sides of Mumbai I had never seen. I wanted to see all the places described in the novel Shantaram like Haji Ali and the Leopold Cafe. Supriya was a friend. I asked her to take me to all these places. Thus, I was in Mumbai and Supriya took over my life for the next few weeks,” Prithviraj Sukumaran earlier said. The duo tied the knot in 2011.
