Film producer Supriya Menon Prithviraj has penned a poignant tribute on the second anniversary of her father's passing. In a touching tribute marking the second year since her father's departure, Supriya Menon poured her heart out and reminisced about the profound impact her father had on her life.
Supriya Menon lost her father, Vijayakumar Menon, in 2019. He had been battling cancer for a little over 13 months. He was 71.
It’s been two years to the day since you left us, Daddy. No day goes by without thinking of you, of missing your presence, your warm hugs, and your scolding when you tell me how you taught me to walk! If only I could turn back time just to hug you a bit longer, hold your hand, and walk a bit longer with you,” Supriya Menon said in her note.
She also struggles to encapsulate the enormity of her emotions, expressing how his absence leaves a void even in moments of both joy and sorrow, where his presence would have been a cherished solace. “Daddy, you are so loved that words fall short. There have been so many moments where I’ve felt truly alone in a moment of joy and sadness without you to share it with. Wherever you are, Dad, I am because you are. Always your daughter, always walking on the path you showed me, guided by the love you showered me with. I love you, Daddy, and I miss you. More than any words can ever convey... (broken heart emoji),” Supriya’s note further read.
