Suhasini Maniratnam to make a short film

Actress Suhasini Maniratnam might return to direction this year. She last directed Indira, which had her cousin Anu Hasan in the lead. “I have been toying with the idea of filmmaking for a while. While I cannot make a full fledged feature film currently, since my father needs my attention due to his health issues, I do plan on making a short film by this year end. This could be either in Tamil or in English,” she explains.
