Start a choir to set people right: Murali Gopy

The film Premam has been in the eye of the storm for a few reasons, the recent being a few students from colleges taking it overboard during onam celebrations.
While a section of them took sides with the naysayers, quite a few got miffed up. Actor Murali Gopy vented out his opinion in a sarcastic tone on a social networking platform by saying, “Yes. Cinema is responsible for all that's happening around us.All those who watched Richard Attenborough's 'Gandhi', became blue-blooded Gandhians. All those who watched 'The Passion of the Christ' became staunch Christians. All those who watched Coppola's 'Godfather' became dreaded gangsters. And all those who watched 'Premam' came to be known as "misled youth'.
He added, “Let's ban cinema and start a devotional choir and see... how the world transforms back into a safe place without World Wars, dictators, blood shed, rape, arson, looting... and without youngsters who happen to fall in love with their teachers.”
