‘Star’ Trailer: A supernatural thriller on its way?

Megastar Mammootty launched the trailer of 'Star' through his social media handle and treated fans to an interesting surprise. The film features Joju George, Sheelu Abraham, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles and the trailer of ‘Star’ suggests that it is a supernatural thriller. Joju George and Sheelu Abraham essay a couple, who have been married for 17 years. Going by the trailer it looks like the character played by Sheelu was apparently born on an evil day.Prithviraj Sukumaran will be essaying the role of Dr Derrick, who unravels the mystery. Elements of folklore, fantasy, and mystery are evident in the trailer.

‘Star’ is helmed by Domin Dsilva. Speaking to us earlier writer Suvin Somasekharan had shared that the film is related to a star - the Beetlejuice in the Orion constellation.
Packed with a powerful cast, 'Star' has a strong technical team too. Tharun Bhasker has been roped in as the cinematography director while Lal Krishna is the film's editor. M Jayachandran and Ranjin Raj are in charge of the music department, while William Francis is handling the background score for ‘Star’.
