Sreesanth gets his moves right for dance reality show

Cricketer Sreesanth is back in the limelight again, this time for his dancing skills. It was earlier reported that he would be part of a dance reality show and now we hear that the former cricketer has already started practising for the same.
“Sree is in Mumbai right now, practising for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He will be a contestant for the show, accompanied by dancer and choreographer Sneha Kapoor,” informed Dipusanth, his brother and manager.The rules of the show stipulate that the celebrity participant should have a choreographer as partner. Sreesanth has flaunted his dancing skills earlier as well; his act with Shah Rukh Khan during a stage show was much noticed.
However, the competition will be tough for Sreesanth, who will have to battle it out with Purab Kohli, Sukhwinder Singh and Sophie Choudhary for the seventh season of the show, which will have different rounds for different genres of dance. Actor Ranvir Shorey will be hosting the show, which will have Madhuri Dixit, Karan Johar and Remo D’Souza as judges. Sreesanth’s wife Bhuvneshwari Kumari has also accompanied him to Mumbai, added Dipusanth.
Meanwhile, Sreesanth will also be debuting as a film music composer and lyricist soon. “It was while he was composing the songs for the Tamil film, Anpulla Azhake, that he was invited for the dance reality show,” said Dipusanth. Sreesanth’s brother-in-law Madhu Balakrishnan will be singing one of the songs in the film. “The dance show is expected to take off in June or July. He will be working on music composing whenever he gets a break,” adds Dipusanth.
The next hearing of the case for which Sreesanth was arrested on spot fixing charges last year will be on May 16. Ironically, it was on the same day last year that the cricketer was arrested by the Delhi police. “May 16 will be as important a day for Sreesanth as for the country,” he says.
