Sreenivasan reveals Mohanlal showed no interest in acting in Prem Nazir’s directorial movie

Popular actor Sreenivasan is back to form and is also taking up a couple of highly anticipated projects. Recently, the actor opened up to a media house against the actor Mohanlal saying that he refused to act in the veteran late actor Prem Nazir’s dream project.

During an interview with the media, Sreenivasan said that the veteran actor Prem Nazir planned to direct a movie with Mohanlal in the lead. Prem Nazir opened up about his idea to Sreenivasan during the sets of the movie ‘Kadathanadan Ambadi’ and asked him to prepare a story that is suitable for the actor Mohanlal.

Reportedly, Sreenivasan said that Mohanlal later shared Prem Nazir’s idea with him. Mohanlal showed less or no interest in acting in Prem Nazir’s directorial project. Later, when Sreenivasan shared a storyline with an intermediary named Nadarajan, Mohanlal scolded him and the same plot later turned into the classic film ‘Sandesham’.

Sreenivasan further said to the media that Prem Nazir paid an advance amount to Mohanlal during his engagement and it was only a few times later, Prem Nazir breathed his last. Sreenivasan added that he was agitated when Mohanlal shared a note in a popular newspaper after Prem Nazir’s death that he wished to act in his movie.

After hearing Sreenivasan's controversial statement against Mohanlal, the netizens have split and one party is saying that it was actually Mammootty who refused to act in Prem Nazir’s project and that there is some sort of PR work going against Mohanlal.
