Sreenath Bhasi to headline ‘Pongala’, makers share a new poster

After the success of ‘Manjummel Boys’, the talented actor Sreenath Bhasi is all set to headline ‘Pongala’ and the makers recently shared a new poster from the film that also features the actress Yami Sona.

According to the latest updates, the filming of the Sreenath Bhasi starrer is progressing in Vypin, Cherai areas. The movie is based on a 2000-year real incident that happened in Vypin coastal area and the expectations are high for AB Binil’s directorial.


Coming with the tagline ‘Liberation of a Coast’, the story of the Sreenath Bhasi starrer is penned by the director AB Binil himself.


Earlier Fahadh Faasil had shared the first look poster for ‘Pongala’ and penned a note that read, “Sending best wishes to AB Binil, Sreenath Bhasi, Baburaj, Bibin George, Harish Uthaman, #Alencier, Roshan Basheer and the whole team of Pongala. #PongalaMovie.”


The expectations are high for ‘Pongala’ as AB Binil has already proved his talent with his film ‘Vamanan’ starring Indrans in the lead. Tharun Bhaskaran handles the cinematography, PRO works are handled by Manju Gopinadh, Kapil Krishna is in charge of the editing section and Alex Paul handles the music department.


Apart from Sreenath Bhasi, ‘Pongala’ also features the actors Shine Tom Chacko, Baburaj, Sudheer Karamana,Alencier Ley Lopez, Kichu Tellus, Sminu Sijo, Renu Sounder, Martin Murukan, Bibin George and many others in pivotal roles.


On the other hand, Sreenath Bhasi has several highly awaited projects in the pipeline including ‘CIBIL Score’, ‘Sugarless’, and ‘Udumbanchola Vision’.
