Sreenath Bhasi missing from the new ‘Chattambi’ movie poster

As controversies are surrounding the Mollywood actor Sreenath Bhasi, the makers of his recent film ‘Chattambi’ unveiled a new poster on the last day omitting the lead actor from the poster.

Mollywood actor Binu Pappu, who plays a significant role in ‘Chattambi’, took to his official Facebook handle to unveil the new poster from the movie. Although it's unclear whether the makers omitted the lead character played by Sreenath Bhasi from the poster based on the recent controversies, netizens are split on the maker's decision regarding the same. While some netizens congratulate the makers' move to remove Sreenath Bhasi from the poster, others are commenting against the act.

‘Chattambi’ is helmed by the debutant director Abhilash S Kumar and the script is penned down by the writers Alex Joseph and Don Palathara. The film’s story is set in 1995 and follows the lives of abrasive outlaws in rural Idukki. Sreenath Bhasi played the lead character and the rest of the cast included Grace Antony, Chemban Vinod Jose, Mythili, Guru Somasundaram, and Binu Pappu.

For the unversed, Mollywood actor Sreenath Bhasi was arrested by the police recently as an anchor alleged that the actor verbally abused her during the promotional interview for the latest movie ‘Chattambi’. The actor was later released on bail.

According to the latest reports, the Kerala Film Producers Association has decided not to cooperate with the actor Sreenath Bhasi. Reportedly the actor will be only allowed to complete the filming of the existing movies that he has signed up for. The actor will be also reportedly subjected to drug tests.
