Sreenath Bhasi: I play a Sakhavu in ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ - Exclusive!

Sreenath Bhasi is on a roll, with back-to-back projects lined up for release. One of his most exciting upcoming films is ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’, which is helmed by Bijith Bala. Sreenath Bhasi is essaying the lead character, while actors Grace Antony and Ann Seethal have roped in some pivotal roles.

“‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ is a political satire. I play a Sakhavu in the film. My character Dineshan is a proper Sakhavu, who is very active with the youth wing,” Sreenath Bhasi said exclusively to ETimes.

Set in Kannur, ‘Padachone Ingalu Katholi’ revolves around Sreenath Bhasi’s character. Apart from Sreenath Bhasi, Grace Antony, and Ann Seethal, the film also has Alencier Ley, Hareesh Kanaran, Nirmal Palazhi, and Dinesh Prabhakar in pivotal roles.

Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, director Bijith Bala shared, “Sreenth Bhasi plays a schoolteacher, employed at a local educational institution. He got the job in the management quota and is a temporary employee, so he has been working without a salary for a long time without it. The film shows his efforts to improve his job situation and the various incidents around it.”

Meanwhile, Sreenath Bhasi has some exciting films including ‘Chattambi’, ‘Idi Mazha Kattu’, ‘Vikaram’, and, ‘Ini Kodathiyil Kaanam’ among others in the pipeline.
