Sreejith Ravi arrested for flashing school children
On Thursday, actor Sreejith Ravi, accused of reportedly flashing high school children near Ottapalam, had vehemently denied the allegations saying, 'The students must have made a mistake about the registration number.
The car is not mine.' Unfortunately for Sreejith, his cell phone signal doesn't lie. The Ottapalam police on Friday arrested the actor after tracking the mobile tower location of the actor at the time of the incident. A lawyer from Ottapalam, who is in the know of the incident, confirmed to Kochi Times that the actor has now admitted that the car mentioned in the complaint belongs to him. 'The police tracked his mobile phone signal and confirmed that he was at the spot,' said the lawyer.

The incident happened at around 8.30 am on August 27 when a group of high school girls were on their way to school to attend special class. 'We received a complaint on the same day saying that a man in a car flashed them and took photographs of the girls. When they shouted at him, the man drove off. The girls had noted the registration number of the car which helped the police trace him,' said Gopakumar, Childline's Palakkad district coordinator.

, into custody on Thursday after the principal of a prominent school filed a complaint against him stating that he had flashed his private parts before a group of school children while sitting in his car. The police arrested him on Friday, after the children identified him. 'As per the law we cannot bring children in front of the accused for the identification parade. We showed them his photographs and they have identified Sreejith,' says Adam Khan, sub-inspector of Police, Ottapalam.
