The coy heroine of Anoop-Menon-Jayasurya’s latest outing will next be seen in a totally different avatar in a horror flick! Assistant director-turned-actress Soumya will play the female lead in Parthan Mohan’s One. “The film is inspired by two real-life incidents that took place in Scotland in 2004. The story is centred on a hiking trip undertaken by a few college students.
While the film can be categorised under the horror genre, the presentation will be something that hasn’t unfolded on the Mollywood screen yet,” says Parthan.
The director also adds that actor Jagadeesh will appear in a never-seen-before look in the film. Besides Soumya and Jagadeesh, Devika Nambiar, Rosin, Vishnu Nandan and Vinod Menon are also a part of the cast. The film is scheduled to start rolling next month in Trivandrum.
