From the film ‘In Ghost House Inn’ to ‘Adi Kapyare Koottamani’, there have been several Malayalam films that come under the category of horror comedy. Soubin Shahir’s upcoming movie ‘Romancham’ seems to be the latest addition to the genre as the trailer which was released on the last day promises a completely fun entertainer with horror elements.

The trailer for ‘Romancham’ starts with a friend's gang using an Ouija board to summon ghosts and just when the gang thinks that they have done an unsuccessful attempt, the trailer then shows a few glimpses of horror indicating that they have summoned ghosts from the dark realm. ‘Romancham’ trailer sets a completely fun mood with the essence of horror, emotions, and suspense.

Makers of ‘Romancham’ have indeed amped up the expectation levels for the movie as the trailer for the film looks promising and will surely have something new to offer to the audience. The trailer also showcases the magnificent acting of Soubin Shahir who plays the lead in the movie.
‘Romancham’ is written and directed by Jithu Madhavan who previously worked as an assistant director for the Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Guppy’ which was released in the year 2016. Sanu Thahir is roped in as the cinematographer and the editing section will be handled by Kiran Das. The music for ‘Romancham’ is composed and produced by Sushin Shyam and the sound design by MR Rajakrishnan. Srik Varier did the color grading of ‘Romancham’.
Apart from Soubin Shahir, ‘Romancham’ also features the actors Arjun Asokan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sajin Gopu, and Siju Sunny in significant roles.
