Soubin Shahir is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after actors in Mollywood. The latest big project to cast the actor is Bhadran’s
Joothan
, which will mark the director’s comeback after 14 years.
The film’s scripwriter Suresh Kumar tells us, “The movie has got mystery, thrill and also romance. Soubin plays a Jewish character named Eo Eliyavu Kohan in the movie and it’s going to be one the best roles he has essayed so far.”
Apart from this year’s State Award winner for Best Actor, the film also has
Rima Kallingal,
Joju George and Indrans. The movie will go on floors by end of June this year.
Incidentally, the poster of the film that was released recently was widely appreciated by netizens and many had also released posters of this own, using the Sushin Shyam’s score. This has prompted the makers of the film to organise a competition to select the best two fan-made posters, with the winners getting a chance to be assistant directors in the film.
