Soubin Shahir and Namitha Pramod starrer 'Machante Malakha' to hit theatres on February 27

The makers have announced the official release date of Soubin Shahir and Namitha Pramod's starrer 'Machante Malakha'. The movie will now hit theatres on February 27, and the new poster announcing the release date is winning the internet with its warm village setting.

In the newly shared poster, Soubin is seen holding a gardening spade and exudes the look of a farmer. At the same time, Namitha looks completely traditional in a 90s-style dhoti and blouse. They are seen striking a couple's pose against a village backdrop. The makers have added a 'Save the Date' caption along with the release date.


The Boban Samuel directorial also features Dhyan Sreenivasan, Dileesh Pothan, Manoj KU, Shanthi Krishna, Arya, and many more in key roles. 'Machante Malakha' is written by Jexson Antony, while Ajeesh P. Thomas wrote the screenplay.

Ouseppachan is the music director of the movie, while Vivek Menon and Ratheesh Raj are handling the cinematography and editing.

The motion poster of the movie, which was released earlier, featured Soubin Shahir as a KSRTC bus conductor, and now the new poster confirms that the movie will be a feel-good, daily entertainer.

On the work front, Soubin was last seen in 'Nadikar', directed by Lal Jr., which also featured Tovino Thomas, Divya Pillai, Balu Varghese, Suresh Krishna, and Bhavana. He has a couple of projects in the pipeline, including 'Pravinkoodu Shappu' and the much-awaited Tamil movie 'Coolie' alongside Rajinikanth. The movie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will also star Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra Rao, and Shruti Haasan in key roles.
