It is after emerging a winner of a reality show that Sneha Unnikrishnan wrestled her way onto the big screen. Soon she made her debut in Shine Kurian’s Actually. Next, we hear that Sneha has been roped in by Basil Joseph for his film, Kunjiramayanam. Scripted by Deepu Pradeep, the story unfolds in Kollengode in Palakkad. The actress will be romancing three heroes played by brothers Vineeth and Dhyan Sreenivasan, and Aju Varghese.
Sneha says, “Kunjiramayanam is an entertainer set is the ’80s, so everyone will be seen in a naadan get-up, typical of that time. I am shown as Dhyan’s love-interest, but my marriage gets fixed with Vineeth. Later, due to some reasons, the marriage is called off and I tie the knot with Aju Varghese.”
Sneha admits that she’s a hard core fan of Vineeth because of which she readily agreed to do the project. “I kept observing him throughout the shoot. Vineeth only cracks subtle jokes while his brother Dhyan is an extrovert.” Sneha had a tough time acting opposite Aju Varghese. “Aju will come up with something new that’s not there in the script all the time and I had a difficult time controlling my laughter. Seeing Aju act, everyone behind the camera used to laugh, including the director. Aju is a spontaneous performer with lots of energy. It was total fun to work with such a great team.”
The experimental film will see Vineeth crooning two songs. Sneha has also signed Sasikumar’s untitled Tamil project.
