Dulquer Salmaan’s sophomore debut acting venture in the Telugu film industry has proved to be a blockbuster and according to the reports ‘Sita Ramam’ has earned over Rs 3.5 crores at the Kerala box office.

Although the makers of ‘Sita Ramam’ have not yet officially disclosed the box office numbers, according to the Twitter forums that track the box office collection figures, the Dulquer Salmaan starrer has reportedly minted over Rs 3.5 crores at the Kerala box office in 5 days.

Earlier it was reported that the Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Sita Ramam’ had reportedly minted over Rs 1 crores at the Kerala box office on its third-day theatrical run. Now that the film has added up more than 2 crores to its collection figures, it can be said that the Dulquer Salmaan starrer is getting an overwhelming response from the Kerala audience also.
Dulquer also reportedly said that ‘Sita Ramam’ will be his last romantic film in his career and he also has a variety of ambitious projects of various genres in the pipeline.
Helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, ‘Sita Ramam’ tells a romantic tale between the central character lieutenant Ram and a girl named Sita. The film also features the actors Mrunal Thakur and Rashmika Mandanna in significant roles. The rest of the cast in the romantic drama includes Bhoomika Chawla, Keshav Deepak, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam and Sachin Khedekar.
Meanwhile, Dulquer Salmaan has a host of highly ambitious projects in the pipeline. Some of the upcoming projects in the actors filmography includes the action entertainer ‘King of Kotha’ and Soubin Shahir’s directorial film ‘Othiram Kadakam’.
