Sijoy Varghese and Tovino Thomas got their big break together in the 2013 film ABCD. While Tovino played a political leader with grey shades, Sijoy was seen as a fearsome, corrupt cop. Now, after a gap of four years, the actors are reuniting for a project directed by Dominic Arun. The film scripted by Itihasa fame Anil Narayanan is a comedy thriller and has Sijoy as a rough and tough hitman.

Sijoy tells us, “My character Christopher Luke can be termed as a pacha manushyan and is quite different from any roles I have done so far. Getting to work with Tovino is another plus.”

Sijoy plays one of the main villains in the film along with Neha Iyer, who essays the character Omana. “They are an interesting combo of baddies,” says the actor, who would also be sporting a different look in the film.

The movie’s shoot is currently progressing in Kochi, and is expected to wind up by the first week of May. Tovino enacts a suspended traffic cop named Pappan, and tries his hand at a full-length comedy character in the film, for the first time. Honey Bee fame Balu Varghese plays his side-kick while Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup and Shammi Thilakan are also part of the cast. Meanwhile, Sijoy is also part of Mammootty’s Shyamdhar directorial.
