Sidharth Bharathan remembers mom KPAC Lalitha on her one year of remembrance
Veteran actress KPAC Lalitha passed away on this day (Feb 22), last year (2022). KPAC Lalitha’s son actor-filmmaker Sidharth Bharathan has penned a heartfelt note on social media.
It’s been a year since KPAC Lalitha passed away, and Sidharth has shared that he felt it as the ‘slowest year’ he has ever experienced.
Taking to his social media handle, Sidharth Bharathan penned, “It’s been a year..there is a small get together among family, neighbour’s and friends at Wadakancherry..while inviting most for the get together, everyone were of the opinion that a year had passed away quickly..for me, it was the slowest year I have experienced ever..missing her..missing her big time..no words can suffice the emotions..remembering her NOT only on this day. #amma #1stanniversary #sydart.”

KPAC Lalitha, who began her career in cinema with KS Sethumadhavan’s film ‘Koottukudumbam’, released in the year 1969. She was flooded with offers following that and has worked with some of the best in Malayalam cinema including her husband Bharthan. From the complex Kunjipennu in ‘Venkalam’ to the helpless Omana in ‘Kanalkkattu’, KPAC Lalitha has breathed life into countless characters onscreen. Her ability to handle humour as well as intense emotions, has left moviegoers spellbound. In her career spanned over five decades she has immortalized numerous characters, by bringing them to life.
Mother of all roles, KPAC Lalitha’s demise has left an irreversible void in the industry.
