Siddharth replaces Vivek Oberoi

Director Lenin Rajendran, who is currently in Munnar shooting for Edavapathy, shares that he had Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in mind for the lead role in the film. ���Vivek had a slight Tibetian look and I felt he would be apt for the role,��� says the director. However, he says since the actor turned out to be too expensive, he decided to drop the idea. Later, he went on a search for the right face. ���I even went to the National School of Drama in search of students from the north-east,��� he says. It was then that his friend mentioned about the lama boy from Yodha. Finally, the director decided to cast Siddharth in the lead.
