Shwetha’s next is a movie with a message

Actress Shwetha Menon, who is known for her strong roles in Malayalam films, will next be seen in debutant K P Thilak Raj’s Mazhaariyathe, a family drama.
The actress plays a homeopathic doctor who is also an active social worker in the film. “Shwetha plays a widow who is living for her son. Kalabhavan Mani plays her husband,” says the director. There comes a twist in the story when her school-going son is caught up in a crime.Actor Baburaj is roped in for a serious role this time and he plays CI Anirudhan, who is the investigating officer. There are three child artistes in the film.
Thilak Raj, who has penned the script for the film, says, “Through my film, I want to convey a positive message. There are organ donation drives held in the state and through this film, I want to convey the importance of organ and blood donation. The film tries to highlight the same.”
