Shwetha Menon adjudged Best Supporting Actress at Milan International Film Festival

Shwetha Menon’s awards run continues! The actress was recently adjudged the Best Supporting Actress at the Milan International Film Festival of World Cinema 2018.
The actress won the award for her role Asma in director Ranjilal Damodaran’s Nawal The Jewel. In October, the actress was selected as the Best Actress for the role in Delhi International Film Festival as well.
The movie, which is set in the Gulf, has her playing a woman as well as impersonating a man.The film, which also stars actress Reem Kadem and Adil Hussain, won the State Award for best makeup this year.
