‘Shoopara Da’ video song from ‘Grrr’ is out

Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu starrer ‘Grrr’, which hit the big screens on June 14, is now running successfully in the cinemas. The makers have now dropped the video song ‘Shoopara Da’. The celebratory song is composed, produced and arranged by Tony Tarz. The lyrics are penned by Vaishakh Sugunan. Anwar Sadath and Divya S Menon sang the song.

Directed by Jay K, ‘Grrr’ revolves around a man who stumbles into the enclosure of a lion named Darshan. Jay K has co-written the screenplay and dialogue with Praveen S.

ETimes rated the film 2.5 out of 5, “Grrr... from Jay K may turn out to be enjoyable for children, but as it stands, it's barely held together by a slim storyline. It does generate a few laughs here and there, but fails to impress in execution. However, the tracks by Dawn Vincent are catchy and keep the energy up in the film. One might expect something more adventurous when a film is made solely around the premise of a drunk man jumping into a lion enclosure and getting rescued from there. However, it's a very simple take on the incident with some family drama woven in.”
