Shine Tom – Samyukta starrer ‘Wolf’ is an emotional thriller drama

Yet another Malayalam movie, with limited crew and location changes, went on floors on Monday.
Titled ‘Wolf,’ the film, directed by Shaji Azees, is an emotional thriller drama and the shoot has started in Perumbavoor. It is scripted by G R Indugopan.
It stars Shine Tom Chacko, Samyukta Menon, Arjun Ashokan, Irshad and Jaffer Idukki in major roles. Director Shaji says, “The movie’s story unfurls between a police aid post and a house near the same, over a day and night.We have less than 10 actors as part of the project, and just about 40 per cent of people in the crew, as compared to a normal film set. It is a 22-day-long schedule and we are planning a film of 2-hour duration.”
In the film, Shine Tom Chacko plays the role of a Sub Inspector. Shaji says, “Samyukta Menon’s character is that of a young woman whose wedding is fixed, and Arjun Ashokan plays her fiancé. Jaffer Idukki also plays a cop, he is a civil police officer in the film. Being a thriller, the rest of the aspects are to be kept a suspence.”
It is the third film of Shaji Azees, who has previously directed the films ‘Shakespeare M A Malayalam,’ which he co-directed in the year 2008 with Shyju, and ‘Oridathoru Post Man.’ He has also helmed the popular TV series ‘M80 Moosa.’ The filmmaker has also previously assisted about 15 renowned directors like T K Rajeev Kumar, Anil C Menon, Priyanandanan and K K Rajeev.
