Shine Tom Chacko writes to Dulquer Salmaan, seeking help for ‘Adi’ release

Actor Shine Tom Chacko in his latest social media note has apparently sought the help of actor-producer Dulquer Salmaan for the release of ‘Adi’. The upcoming film is directed by Prasobh Vijayan, who has previously helmed ‘Anveshanam’, and ‘Lilli’, and it features Shine Tom Chacko and Ahaana Krishna in the lead roles. Dulquer Salmaan’s home banner is bankrolling ‘Adi’, and though the shoot of the film was wrapped up in December 2020, the release is yet to be announced.
Shine Tom Chacko shared a note on Instagram, addressing Dulquer Salmaan, that reads, “To my friend dulqur Salman, I did thz movie VTh my fullheart n am waiting to see thz on theatre,one of her finest performance of ahana n dhruvan,n well written by ratheesh sry....u know d pain of ignoring d bunch of talents,like the state award committee ignored our KURUP...waiting a reply from u my frnd DQ (sic).”

Helmed by Prasobh Vijayan, the film is expected to be a fun entertainer. Speaking to Kochi Times earlier, the director, “This film is not similar in any way to my previous two movies. Neither does it have too many indoor portions nor is it a thriller. The film in fact has an equal mix of outdoor and indoor locations and is a fun, comedy that is made for the family audience and would remind people of Sathyan Anthikad movies. Shine and Ahaana play a couple, who are recently married in the film. The story revolves around their family and the incidents that happen in their lives.”
