Shane Nigam's newly released Veyil poster has a brooding feel

The auspicious occasion of Vishu saw the release of a couple of posters from Shane Nigam-film Veyil. The film, written and directed by debutant Sarath and bankrolled by Joby George, is about the relationship between brothers, shown over two eras.

The posters, which have the stylised look of old photographs, shows Shane with his trademark cap in his younger avatar from the film, which also stars Shine Tom Chacko.The film was hanging fire over a controversy about Shane getting a haircut and failing to maintain the continuity of his character. Sarath says, “There was just one more day of shoot to go, but it had to be suspended because of the precautionary measures. The editing work is ongoing now. I am pleased with the initial rushes.”
