Shamna Kasim in demand for remakes?

Her big Mollywood outing, Chattakkari, the remake of yesteryear hit of the 70s by the same name, has created enough buzz even when it���s a month away from release.
However, looks like actress Shamna Kasim, who reprises the role of Julie in the film���s new-age avatar, is in demand in Mollywood, especially for remakes. The actress confirms the news. ���Ever since I gave the nod for Chattakari, I���ve been flooded with offers from the Malayalam film industry, like never before,��� she says, adding, ���I was approached for the remake of Maniyara, the yesteryear film that starred actors Mammootty and Seema in the lead. However, I haven���t yet signed on for any new project in Malayalam. First, I want to see how good the response to my Julie is, before I do my next Malayalam film,��� she signs off.
