Filmmaker Shaji Kailas, who is basking in the success of ‘Kaapa’, has stepped into his next. The filmmaker is teaming up with Bhavana Menon for his next titled ‘Hunt’. Touted to be a suspense thriller, ‘Hunt’ is also said to be having horror elements in it. The film went on floors on Wednesday (Dec 28) in Palakkad.
Bhavana Menon, who plays the lead role of Dr. Keerthy, a PG Resident Doctor too was present at the switch-on ceremony of the film. Shaji Kailas commenced ‘Hunt’ by filming the first shot featuring Bhavana. Bhavana Menon was seen decked up in an ombre kaftan, looking all gorgeous.
Shaji Kailas shared pictures of the puja ceremony and captioned, “Hunt starts rolling ✌�� Need all your support and prayers.”

Set in a medical college, ‘Hunt’ revolves around Bhavana’s character Dr. Keerthy, who happens to get a case, that further unfolds something very unexpected. The film is said to be giving the audience an edge-of-the-seat thriller. Actress Aditi Ravi plays Dr. Sara, another important role in the film. Actors Ajmal Ameer, Rahul Madhav, Anu Mohan, Renji Panicker, Chanthunath, G Suresh Kumar, Nandu, Vijayakumar, and Divya Nair will be seen in some pivotal roles in the film.
On the technical side, Kailas Menon is composing the music, and BK Hari Narayanan and Santhosh Varma will be crafting the lyrics.
