Shaan Rahman tests positive for Covid-19

Renowned music composer-singer Shaan Rahman announced via his official Instagram handle that he has tested positive for Covid- 19. Shaan Rahman mentioned on his Instagram post that he had symptoms from last Wednesday onwards but since he had limited contact with the outside world he thought it to be a usual viral fever. Still, he opted for an RTPCR test and chose self-quarantine.

Shaan Rahman posted a picture of his RTPCR test result on his official Instagram handle and penned a note that read, “Dear all, I’ve been tested Positive for Covid. Since last Wednesday, I have been down with a heavy fever. The first couple of days were a bit rough and tough with severe headaches, shivering, and cold. And since I had very limited contact with the outside world, I never thought it would be Covid. I thought it was some viral fever due to climate change or something. So I thought I'd go for an RTPCR test once my fever comes down a bit but chose to quarantine myself just in case”


In the note the renowned music composer, Shaan Rahman added that “. Besides, I wore a mask almost all the time and always carried a hand sanitizer to keep my hands clean. Kept me as safe as possible. But it caught me somehow. My RTPCR test came Positive yesterday. I’ll get back into shape. Though slowly yet steadily. I’ll keep you guys posted. Do keep me in your prayers and please be safe all of you. Wear masks at ALL times. You’ll never know when it hits you. Never underestimate this thing. Better be safe than sorry. The post was soon flooded with comments from his fans and celebrities all wishing him a speedy recovery. Recently the renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan was contracted Covid-19 and, as per the reports, he was admitted to Apollo hospital in Chennai.
