Shaalin Zoya announces her debut feature film ‘The Family Act’

Actress Shaalin Zoya is making her debut as a filmmaker with the upcoming feature film ‘The Family Act’. The upcoming film will feature Prashanth Alexander, Reshmi Boban, Gayathri Govind, and Zana Farzana in the lead roles. Shaalin, who has directed short films earlier, is widening her horizons with the upcoming project.

Shaalin Zoya made the announcement via her social media handle. In a note shared on Instagram, she said, “Presenting you all the first look of my directorial feature film. As a director I managed to do 7 short-films and one documentary till now and I’m officially stepping into the feature film category with this home production. It’s an humble attempt. Hope you will love it. Also, Thank you.”

Helmed by Shaalin Zoya, ‘The Family Act’ has actors Prashanth Alexander, Reshmi Boban, Gayathri Govind, and Zana Farzana in the lead roles. Written and directed by Shaalin Zoya, the film has Sarath Kumar AS as the cinematographer. The editing for the film is done by Akshay Kumar J, and, Anand Raj. The music department is handled by Dawn Vincent. Sooraj Rajan is in charge of the sound department. Joyner Thomas is the DI colorist. The art department is helmed by Nikhil Prabhakar. Sreenath Babu is the project designer. The costumes are designed by Abhijith U B.
