‘Secret’ release: Dhyan Sreenivasan, SN Swamy’s suspense drama, to release on THIS date

Renowned Malayalam writer SN Swamy is stepping into the director's chair for the first time with his debut film 'Secret,' featuring Dhyan Sreenivasan in the lead role. The anticipation surrounding this project has been heightened with the announcement of its official release date. The psychological mystery drama is set to hit theaters on July 26.

The makers have released a striking poster that features the half-faces of Dhyan Sreenivasan and director-actor Ranjith, hinting at the suspenseful and intriguing nature of the film.

In an exclusive interview with ETimes, actor Kalesh Ramanand, who plays a significant role in the film as psychologist Moorthy, shared insights into the plot. “I am playing Moorthy, Dhyan Sreenivasan’s close friend, in the film,” Kalesh revealed. “Dhyan, Aparna Das, Gregory, and I form a close-knit friendship circle. My character is a psychologist. The story unfolds when our gang attends my character’s wedding, and a subsequent trip triggers a personal crisis for Dhyan’s character, Mithun.”

Kalesh also emphasized the depth and complexity of the film’s subject matter, noting, “As the movie deals with such a complex subject, SN Swamy sir decided to take on the director’s role for the film.”
