Second schedule of Dileep starrer ‘D148’ goes on floors in Kattappana

The second schedule of Dileep’s next directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan has begun. The film is tentatively titled ‘D148’ as it marks Dileep’s 148th film. The makers have kickstarted the second schedule in Kattappana and its nearby locations. The team will be wrapping up the entire shoot with this schedule, which is expected to be nearly 50 days. They will be filming a different time period in the second schedule. The makers, with the help of art director Manu Jagath, will be erecting a huge set in a two-and-a-half acre land near Kattappana to film some important scenes.

Neeta Pillai and Pranitha Subhash are the leading ladies in ‘D148’.

Actors Ajmal Ameer, Sudev Nair, Sidhique, Manoj K Jayan, Kottayam Ramesh, Major Ravi, Santosh Keezhattoor, Asiz Nedumangad, Malavika Menon, Ramya Panicker, Muktha, Sivakami, Ambika Mohan, Sminu, and Tamil actors John Vijay and Sampath Ram, are also part of the cast.

The film went on floors on January 28 in Kottayam CMS college. After filming in Erattupetta, Poonjar, Kanjirapalli, Koottikal, Kuttikanam and Peerumedu, the team wrapped up the first schedule on March 8. Mounted on a massive budget, the film also has popular fight choreographers Rajasekharan, Stunt Siva, Supreme Sundar, and, Mafia Sasi as a part of the crew.

On the technical front, ‘D148’ has Manoj Pillai as the cinematographer. Shyam Sashidharan has roped in as the editor. William Francis is the music composer.

Meanwhile, the makers will be announcing the title soon.
