Second look poster of Unni Mukundan’s 'Marco' is out!
Unni Mukundan is celebrating his birthday today, September 22, and the makers of his upcoming film ‘Marco’ have launched the second look poster. Touted to be a full-fledged action thriller, the second look poster features Unni Mukundan decked up in a formal suit, holding a severed head in his right hand and the same sleeve on fire, and smoking a cigar.
The makers dropped the bloodied poster and captioned, “Here’s Wishing A KickAss Birthday To our Ultimate Maverick. As promised, We bring you The UnniMukundan, like Never Before. Marco Is Blazing and UnniMukundan is Literally on Fire! The Villain You Knew, The Hero You Gonna Meet, Bloody Soon.”
Directed by Haneef Adeni, the upcoming film is a spin-off to the character Marco, played by Unni Mukundan in the 2019 film ‘Mikhael’. While wrapping up the shoot earlier the director said, “Unni Mukundan's tireless energy on set have brought a new level of intensity to the role, making it the standout performance in the film. Get ready to witness Unni Mukundan like never before. His mass action sequences and jaw-dropping transformation in this film are going to set a new standard and we promise to redefine the action genre in Malayalam film industry.”
‘Marco’ is high on action, and famous action director Kalai Kingston has roped in for the project. The stunt master has designed seven fight sequences for the film. Interestingly this is the first time Kalai Kingston is working for an out-and-out action film. The film also marks the debut of the music director Ravi Basrur in Malayalam, who is known for his songs in films such as 'KGF' and 'Salaar'.
Alongside Unni Mukundan, the film also features Siddique, Jagadish, Anson Paul, Kabir Duhansingh (Turbo fame), Abhimanyu Thilakan, Yukti Tareja and a bunch of newcomers as well.
