Sathyan Anthikad lauds Mammootty’s ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’

Mammootty starrer ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam', which hit the big screens on January 19 is successfully running in the cinemas now. The film continues to receive rave reviews, and the latest celebrity to laud ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam' is veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad.

Sathyan Anthikad has taken to his social media handle to share his review of ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’. The filmmaker has referred to the Mammootty starrer as a beautiful dream experienced during an afternoon nap!

Sathyan Anthikad penned a note in Malayalam, which loosely translates to "Saw 'Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam'. A film like a dream from an afternoon nap. How beautifully has Lijo told the story of James and Sundaram. I have visited some villages in Pazhani during the location scout for 'Mazhavil Kavadi'. The corn fields, small houses crowded by the villagers, the Tamil songs echoing in the winds... Lijo has captured all the beauty of those villages. Saw the astounding performance of the unparalleled actor Mammootty, once again. The image of Sundaram's pet dog following James's vehicle as it leaves the village, remains as a torment in my heart. Heartfelt love to Lijo Jose Pellissery and the team.”
