Sathyan Anthikad awestruck by Mammootty’s ‘The Priest’ teaser

The teaser of the Mammootty starrer ‘The Priest’, was launched on Pongal, and it only added to the hype and anticipation among cinephiles. The teaser has received over 10 lakh views within a matter of hours since its release online. Veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad was one among the many movie buffs who were mesmerized by the teaser.
“Mammootty always amazes me… with his excellence in acting...with his firm stands… and unsullied friendship…,” Sathyan Anthikad said in praise of the Megastar. The filmmaker also commended Mammootty for always presenting himself on screen with novelty. Anthikad also extended his wishes to Jofin T Chacko, the director of ‘The Priest.

The teaser of ‘The Priest’ that was released on Thursday evening had fans going gaga over it. Mammootty has stepped into the shoes of a priest and lit the screen with his enchanting charisma. Manju Warrier is playing a pivotal role in the film that marks her first feature film with the Megastar.
Helmed by debutant Jofin T Chacko, the film is produced by Anto Joseph, Unnikrishnan B, and V N Babu, under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company and RD Illuminations.
Sathyan Anthikad has worked with Mammootty in ‘Sreedharante Onnam Thirumurivu’, ‘Golandhara Vartha’ among other films.
