Sarath Chandran to Jishnu: Mollywood actors who died young

“What’s important is not the years in your life but the life in your years.”, this popular adage holds true to those people who, even though they left the world too early, have made a long-lasting mark in others' memories. Same as in the case of the film industry, from the untimely passing away of the Bollywood actor Sushanth Singh Rajput to the Hollywood actor Chadwick Boseman, there are several actors who will be remembered forever through their memorable roles. Here let's take a look at the Mollywood actors who have died too early.

Jishnu

Mollywood actor Raghavan’s son Jishnu Raghavan had the best acting debut in the Malayalam film industry with Kamal’s directorial film ‘Nammal’ which was released in the year 2002. The film received much appreciation from the audience and was a humongous hit during that time. Jishnu later played lead roles in several Malayalam movies but unfortunately, only half of them really managed to taste success at the box office. Just at the right point when Jishnu made the right comeback by playing pivotal roles in the superhit films ‘Ordinary’ and ‘Usthad Hotel’ death took him away at the age of 35 after a prolonged battle with cancer.

One can never forget the child actress Taruni Sachdev who played the leading role in the Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer horror film ‘Vellinakshathram’ which was directed by the renowned filmmaker Vinayan. Taruni has also played key roles in several films such as ‘Sathyam’, ‘Vetri Selvan’, and the Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Paa’.
