Actress Santhy Balachandran recently tried a hand at making a 2-minute movie, which was dedicated to her mom on Mother’s Day.

The video features a few daily activities of her mom, and the actress has dedicated it to mothers around the world. Santhy captioned the movie thus, ‘I tried my hand at writing, shooting and editing a film. It is far from perfect and my disinclination to tinker with it further made me hesitate to share it on a public platform. But then, my sweet and wise friends reminded me of something I often say: progress over perfection. So here it is.

Dedicated to mothers around the world who spend a considerable portion of their lives labouring in the kitchen, feeding their loved ones, and to mothers everywhere who are pushing back against the idea that the number of hours they spend in the kitchen is the true measure of their love.’
