Saniya Iyappan’s look from Krishnankutty Panithudangi is out

is out. The poster which was released on Friday had the actress holding what looks like a camera but given the genre of the film, it could be a device to detect the paranormal.

The movie, which is a horror-thriller, is currently under production in Thodupuzha and is directed by Sooraj Tom. Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Saniya play the leads in the film.

Sooraj, who had earlier helmed Pa.Va and Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal, had earlier told us, “Krishnankutty Panithudangi is a

horror

thriller which is laced with comedy. The movie’s plot tells a serious subject and it’s scripted as a tight thriller, even though it touches on all other genres. There’s also a few suspense elements that we want to keep under wraps right now.”

Vishnu plays the role of a home nurse while Saniya plays another powerful character. The animated teaser of the movie which was released a month ago gave the audience a glimpse of what the movie is about.

The film will have both indoor and outdoor locations and also marks the scriptwriting debut of music director Anand Madhusoodanan, who had composed for films such as Pa.Va, Njan Marykutty and Pretham.

Sooraj had earlier told us, “Anand has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie. We had this thread in mind way before the lockdown and wanted to do the project earlier but due to certain circumstances, we couldn’t.”
