Samvrutha Sunil’s Anoop Sathyan film is set in the pandemic times

After Varane Avashyamund, director Anoop Sathyan is ready with his next project. The movie, which has actress Samvrutha Sunil in a major role, will start rolling by the end of this month and is a story that happens in the pandemic times.

Anoop tells us, “The movie is about relationships, and it showcases four different types. It’s also a story set in these times that we have been experiencing for the past seven months. In such a changed scenario, there are many changes that have come into our relationships and this movie features those. I have been studying them for a while now.” The director adds that he is currently busy with the casting of the film, which should be confirmed by mid-December.

This is the second project of Samvrutha after her 2019 comeback film, Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkuvo, which also had Biju Menon in the lead. The actress became a mom for the second time after the film, and had a baby boy named Rudra Akhil early this year.

‘Sahtyam Paranja Vishwasikkuvo’ had won the award for the Best Lyricist in the 50th Kerala State Film Awards. Its song ‘Pularippu Pole Chirichu’ had won the award, through lyricist Sujesh Hari.

Samvrutha Sunil had debuted as a heroine through the film ‘Rasikan’ in the year 2004, playing a character named Parvathy aka Thanki. Post that, she had starred in many movies like ‘Chandrolsavam,’ ‘Nerariyan CBI,’ ‘Achanurangatha Veedu,’ ‘Pulijanmam,’ ‘Nottam,’ ‘Uyir,’ ‘Moonnamathoral,’ ‘Pothan Vava,’ ‘Vaasthavam,’ ‘Janmam,’ ‘Chocolate,’ ‘Romeoo,’ ‘Diamond Necklace,’ ‘Arike,’ ‘Ayalum Njanum Thammil’ and more.
