Salim Kumar's 'Karutha Joothan' to be in theaters on August 18

The movie is all set to be released in Kerala, on August 18. It is Salim himself who shared the news via his social media page. The actor said that it is the story of the Jewish community and its history in Mala in Thrissur District, through the life of Aron Ilyahu, a member of a prosperous Jewish family.

Ramesh Pisharadi, Subheesh Sudhi, and Usha also play important roles in the film, alongside Salim who plays the protagonist. 'Karutha Joothan' is the second directorial venture of the actor after 'Compartment,' about the problems of special children
