The actor posted on his social networking page, recollecting a TV interview both of them had given. Kalabhavan Mani had back then stated that he might have been the only actor, who has rendered the most number of songs, and people would come to know about it only after his death. Salim adds that today, the actor's words have come true.

Karumadikuttan actor was younger to him, he has left Salim Kumar way behind by leaving the mortal world.
