Actress Sai Pallavi is known for her natural beauty and simple style. In a recent interview, she revealed that she doesn’t wear any makeup in her movies and only uses a bit of eyeliner. She said she feels confident without makeup and has followed this from the beginning of her film career.
Sai Pallavi says she never wears makeup in her movies
Popular actress Sai Pallavi recently revealed in an interview with actress Pearle Maaney that she doesn’t use makeup in any of her films. She shared that she prefers a natural look and usually only applies a little bit of eyeliner. Even during shoots and interviews, she’s often seen with a bare face. When Pearle asked if she was wearing sunscreen, Sai replied, “No,” and said that she always puts on a bindi though.
Pearle also asked if she had ever worn makeup in any movie. Sai replied, yes, in ‘Shyam Singha Roy’, she had heavy eyeliner for the character. In ‘Fidaa’ too, she used only eyeliner. She explained that due to bright lights during shooting, eyes can look smaller, so eyeliner helps make them more visible.
Avoiding makeup since her debut film
Sai has been avoiding makeup since her first film ‘Premam’. In another interview, she said she never felt pressure to wear makeup. She added, "I think maybe it's the person that I am. I don’t know the other side of how it might feel. Maybe there’s a lot of pressure to look perfect, and I’m not saying makeup doesn’t help. If it makes you feel confident, you should do it. I feel confident this way, and I think I’m doing fine.”
Sai Pallavi’s latest project
Sai Pallavi was last seen in ‘Amaran’, a Tamil movie based on the real-life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan. The film, starring Sivakarthikeyan, was a big success.
She will be making her Bollywood debut with Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
